Top Gaming & Lodging Groups
I was wondering if anyone had any insight into the top Gaming, Lodging & leisure groups. Which banks see the most advisory or capital raising deal flow in this vertical.

From what I know, a lot of the Gaming and Lodging groups are based out of the West Coast (LA in particular) while some firm's have specific industry groups in NY too. Barclays and Macquire in LA have the largest exposure to the industry but the MS, CS and Laz office in this region also cover this vertical. In NY, BAML has a REG&L group.

What's the Appeal of working in the Gaming and Lodging Group as opposed to some others? It seems like this group has an allure of excitement. But what are some industry specific reasons why you would choose this group?

Growth of gaming and lodging in Macau, Singapore and all over Asia (wherever else they allow it) is going to be huge over the next 20 years... great group!

I think CS LA? I'm not sure, but I'd think most of the best groups are in LA since Vegas is close. (wynn, mgm, and lvs)
