Hi monkeys,I have been going back to the office recently and in my rotation their is a VP with mild Tourette syndrome. He is constantly fidgeting / sniffing / making noises in the office to a point that I can't ignore it.Other people doesn't seem to mind but I am seating the closest to him. I dont know how to address the problem since I am very junior but I am really beginning to hate coming to the office.

My god just get a pair of noise-cancelling headphones or even regular earbuds and put on some music. The guy literally cannot control any of his tics.
I dealt with something very similar. My brother and I have an apartment together and I was studying for CFA while he was studying for MCAT and we both studied on our dining table. He does this thing where he hums quickly and does it so much and it ends up being the thing I focus on rather than my material. I 100% feel you with this. It's a tough spot to be in. I'd just follow the other commenter's advice and get like airpods pro or something, not easy to change your situation otherwise.

Just to make things clear I am not blaming him for having tics. I bet everyone here would be annoyed by someone constantly clicking its pen, so just imagine this *10 all day long...
I have a brother w Tourette's it is really not hard at all to look past it or tune it out, I am sure he is bothered by his tics much more than you
