Touse at UChicago?
Incoming freshman at UChicago. Been trying to figure out the social scene before getting on campus and was wondering what the deal is with frats.
I go to a private school in New England, so I know a decent amount of people who have gone to UChicago and the names that always seem to come up are Psi U, Alpha Delt, and FIJI. Not really sure how accurate that is though since I’ve only heard it from older guys at my school.
I’m not an athlete, so I’m not really looking for a house that’s just a bunch of varsity guys. More wondering which ones actually have a good group of guys, throw good events, are social, and are generally considered “the place to be.”
Would appreciate any insight on the different houses, reputations, what the vibe is like, and where freshmen usually end up. Trying to avoid walking in completely blind.
