Bump
Ass culture with insane turnover
Can you elaborate on culture aspect?
Truist in general has laid off a bunch post merger and now analysts in groups like healthcare are getting fucked because of how lean their team is. The junior bankers are good, but management has really destroyed the little culture they had.
The NYC team is focused on life sciences and medtech. There has been high turnover over the past few years, with many good senior talent leaving. But the team still has a reasonable volume, and medtech M&A has been great this year. Life sciences side is mostly ecm product. Hours average in the 70-80 per week
any insight on exits
Better banks and corp dev recently
Recently got an offer last week - team is definitely a work hard play hard culture. That being said, might be slightly toxic and sweaty, but I'm looking to leave after 6 months so just need to grind it out
