Intern in IB-M&A

Can anyone at UBS comment on whether or not being deferred means "we were in the bottom 50% and should look for a new job"

Cant speak for all groups but thats how my group did it, so probably. But you still have a job lined up, just starting later. Enjoy the time as best you can.

I’m with UBS and I got an email 2.5 hours ago about my original start date

Do people who get deferred (not via choice) still get a 30k payment? Or was that part of the risk of staying in the pool?

Does anybody know anything about training? Is it virtual this time?

CS usually flies analysts out to a different country for training alternating with London/NYC every year. It was supposed to be NYC this year fro 3 weeks, not sure that's happening.

My email said "date as per the originial offer letter" so that's 10th July
