undergrad transfer

Hey guys, new to WSO and figured I'd start with some questions regarding the situation I am in. I go to a non target in the midwest (rising sophomore) and am preparing to transfer to a better finance program my junior year with more recruiting opportunities. I am dead set on doing IB out of undergrad in order to postion myself for a hedge fund down the road. It's what I am passionate about and I have been learning as much as possible about the industry every day. I don't have the stats to get into an Ivy/target like Stern, UMich etc so I am wondering what anyone who may have experience in a similar situation would recommend as far as semi target schools anywhere in the country. Obviously, I am still going to have to network my ass off but my goal is to get somewhere that I will at least have some access to summer recruiting for internships.

Thanks guys

St. Louis University? We have no idea where you are, your stats, if you're willing to move, etc. Need more.

Here to learn and hopefully pass on some knowledge as well. SB if I helped.

Alright sorry for the lack of info, 3.5 GPA, I am willing to move anywhere to be honest, I have no prior finance experience but I am actively networking as much as possible. I am fine working in the midwest (mpls, chicago) or the east or west coast. I am just trying to find a school that I will be able to maximize my networking potential in order to land internship offers. Again, first post on here let me know if you guys need more, I really appreciate it. On the surface of this post one may think that I have no idea what I'm getting myself into, but I do. I am extremely passionate about investing and will do whatever it takes to get an analyst position at a hedge fund one day.

don't be dumb
