saw this got posted and im about 1 week into my internship rn and i saw that ad for 2025 and i think its looks WAY more interesting and MUCH higher pay out of college

Does anyone know much about health care M&A? Not too familiar with it and how i could use it to navigate career path starting with UHG.

wow okay. any insights on their corp finance team? im a financial analyst sophomore intern right now for them, i like the culture so far, but havent really done much actual work. Clocking in 8 hours a day

You think it would be better to aim to recruit for a better internship my junior year summer?

Intern in PE - LBOs:

There was a thread on United Heath saying that the CFO comes in on weekends. Mega culture red flag right there

Anyone who thinks one of the top execs of a Fortune 5 company is working 9-5 M-F is in for a rude awakening. While UHG is an outlier, any company with a large Corp Dev dept evaluating a high volume of deals every year looks and operates more like an in-house boutique bank than like a run of the mill corporate finance dept.
