Updated 2022 info on MS/JPM NY Tech

Have saw a few older threads discussing MS Tech / JPM Tech in NY, and seems like there were some mixed commentary regarding their deal flow and exits. Wanted to know if there are any updates on their teams, how they rank among the other MS/JPM coverage groups, and particularly in terms of recent exit opps.

From my understanding, MS NY Tech doesn't outsource their M&A work to the M&A product team, whereas JPM NY Tech seems to do only coverage work and there's little to no modeling/technical exposure at the analyst level. Is this accurate?

Also curious about how NY Tech groups compare to SF Tech groups when it comes to PE recruiting. Does being in NYC make it more convenient? Or does the higher tech deal flow in SF matter more?
