Updated Dinner Allowances (NYC) - May 2022

The last NYC-related post I saw in regards to this was from a few months ago. Was wondering if some banks have updated their allowances recently? We just got bumped up to $30 from $25 not too long ago.

Jef - $25 after 6pm. No more than 4 meals expenses per week outside the office (per HR email)

Group dependent. I think most groups now are M-thurs in office. My group is at least, everything except industrials seems to be m-tr in office.

Most banks had moved to at least 35 bucks for dinner even during the pandemic given inflated food prices, delivery costs, and tips you wanted to pay your delivery guys.

Qatalyst still at $40 but don’t need to deliver

$75 for weekends and can be spent on groceries

Mizuho

$45 per day on weekdays after 6:30 if you're working past 8. Delivery to office only.

$40 per day on weekends WFH or delivery to office.

Baird gives lunch and dinner stipend? That's gotta be OP in Chicago and especially Milwaukee

For those on $30, how have y’all been able to manage paying for meals right now? Is inflation making it really bad or are you still able to get a decent meal even with all the fees and rising prices?

$25 Truist in both CLT / ATL / NY, fuckin sucks. Can barely eat anything good besides fast food places.
