Wait, Gugg is ECM powerhouse? And M&A is getting better? I thought it was the opposite -- with ECM not great, but growing, while it already has a great M&A practice, with Alan Schwartz and very good groups in both TMT and healthcare.
Looks like someone deleted/edited the original post they had about ECM vs. M&A.

If you are deciding between the two, I don't know why else you would be looking for this, then the easy choice is Gugg. Good culture from the people I know going there and way better comp.
