US IB Analyst 2 Bonus Expectation 2023
Folks,If your bank has announced bonus expectations for Analyst 2 class that is about to leave your firm in June, could you please share the info? Even if it is just an educated guess, that is always helpful too.I am a middle market bank and I do not have enough information to guess what we would be paid out before we leave. I am laterally recruiting at the moment and recruiters have asked about my bonus expectation in case the next firm wanted me to leave before my bonus payout date. I just could not give a benchmarking number since I do not want to misspeak.Any inputs and guidance are much appreciated. Thanks!
I am ready 😊😢
What’re folks expectations?
Yo someone please give insight on Guggenheim's comp this year, especially for Analyst 1? Asscheeks? Comparatively decent?
Please lmk, surprised at the lack of data given Gugg's large analyst class.
Last year analyst 2s got north of 100k at my bank. Based off how awful associate bonuses were I’m expecting 50% of that maybe. Depressing market for sure but hard to believe banks won’t screw us
Thank you!
I have the same feeling…
Why would you view it as banks screwing you?
Because it doesn’t matter if you personally worked on multiple closed deals or if your group specifically performed and made money for the bank. You’ll get the same bad bonus as the analysts that have sat around for a year and whose group hasn’t done anything.
I will say that luck plays a role and it isn’t the tmt analysts fault that their industry is slow right now. Obviously in prior years their performance has driven up bonuses for everyone.
I’m expecting at least 80+
Hope you’re at an EB
A1 bonus last year was 80 so expecting at least that… will see how it actually shakes out.
For reference at an EB doing fairly well at the moment
I am jealous 🥲🥲
EB analyst here and my associates got 100%+ so cautiously optimistic
Bump
Any word on credit suisse
Bump
Following
Expecting 75+
30k for analyst 1 and 40k for analyst 2. Analyst 3 will be $50k plus $60k for A2A bonus.
Seriously? Not saying you're wrong, but do you really think it's going to be that bad out there?
Have you looked at fees and layoffs this past year and year ahead?
Thank you!
