Sounds like you got the charge post-offer. If that's the case, I would do everything in my power to get the earliest court date possible in order to avoid it coming up. If you've already submitted your bg check form, and didn't declare it, you're screwed. If you were to declare it, who knows. I would lean towards you being screwed but i have no clue.
my app didn’t ask about any pending charges. i would never lie about it, if my background check asked about pending charges i would disclose it.
call their hr department asap. Holidays, weekends, whatever, you gotta communicate with them. I have no personal experience with JPM, but any other bank would AT LEAST expect a call to clarify the situation. Waiting for the results to come back and not mentioning anything would be an issue.
