Hey guys I’ve seen many memes and posts showing gifts that the company is sending as “welcome” (EY apple airpods, customised Patagonia I mean you know, The cliche) and I was wondering if every company (Goldman, citi, baml) was doing it? Is it only for full time hires or also interns (summer internship, off Cycle interns)? Thanks !

Not every firm does it. Depends on the firm and the group. For example, the bank I am an incoming IB SA at hasn't given out anything (other incoming interns in other groups didn't get anything). But the group I will be joining sent out a welcome package.

I work in NatRes so I drink out of those plastic cups in the office. Doing my part to marginally increase oil demand by using one plastic cup a day. Lol
For internship got nice pen, umbrella, water flask, and a Moleskine notebook-- all branded. If I'm being honest I hope we get banker bags for FT lol

For my IB SA internship, I got a S'well, a Yeti, and small notebook and pen set. For full-time in Asset Management, I got a blanket, a coffee-cup sized Yeti, and a vest. It's a solid set of stuff, but didn't expect to get more from an AM firm than an IB firm.
KPMG gives interns a plastic water bottle, crappy pen and notebook lol would rather they just don’t send anything
BofA gave out a hoodie for Christmas, another one during the summer, and a duffel bag towards the end of the summer
Wells Fargo once gave me a duffel bag just for going to their info session. Ended up puking into it after a bender.

Wells Fargo gave me a gym bag at an info session. I proceeded to puke in it in my dorm one weekend from drinking too much
