Wells Fargo Best groups

I've been doing some light recruiting and Wells seems solid. The juniors have been really cool, comp. is in line with the street, and I think they have tremendous room to grow. 

But I want to start networking with the strong groups at the bank for placement purposes. I am interested in both product and coverage groups... pretty much open to anything but FIG. What are the strongest groups at the WF

Numerous threads on the topic but easy answer is REGAL and Industrials. FIG, Levfin, Sponsors, and E&P might be okay? TMT could be okay but outside looking in is mediocre right now, depends on what they do in the next two years. If your goal is PE and you’re not in the first two groups, best bet is probably lateraling somewhere better

 

Having a hard time understanding. 

Were they shitting at their own bank or was this more of a frat move of saying they get ass? 

 

I second this. But a big focus is to grow out that sponsor group. so still a work in progress, but worth a gamble if you want FSG and like the aspects of being part of the growth

Looks like they had a bunch of BX deals last year and looks like they advised on an Apollo deal earlier this month
