I comment here only when my bank is mentioned or I can add clarity. Frankly what you have written here “Lovebanking” is a disgusting overt threat to an SA over a publicly available knowledge piece. From your post history it is not hard for me to ascertain your identity to a few individuals. Your team will reach out shortly. Let this stand as a lesson that you are a representative of your bank and brand.

 

The discount to close is high and that's reflective of doubt that the STB will approve the deal.  

I think NSC would've done better by their shareholders by cutting costs, and maybe if the deal gets blocked they'll still finally be forced to do that.

 

Huge W’s for BofA, MS, and WF… pending this deal actually closing which isn’t expected to  happen until 2027. BofA the biggest winner as they were the sole advisor on the Sellside. Public buzz of more rail consolidation incoming. 

WF was also the exclusive Sellside advisor on Chart announced the same day, they’ve been killing it this year in IND & Tech
