What college did you go to and what EC's did you do?

I'm trying to get a sense of the competiveness of wall street. If you could please just name the college or university that you went to and how were your grades? What type of EC's did you do? Internships, clubs, research etc etc. Also how vast was your network? What type of people did you network with? How exactly do you even network? Do you start cracking jokes and small talk or talk about business? Also, if you could how you did in high school, like did you take an AP classes or join any clubs or anything? Sorry if I'm asking too many questions, i searched the entirety of the internet and couldn't really find good things, and my teachers don't exactly work at wall street.

College - Ball So Hard University

EC/Activities - The "what are liberal arts?" club, staying up all night doing models, dreaming about having a business card displaying a vampire squid logo, Chief Observer at the Belly-dancing extracurricular club, throwing money at OWS people, etc.

Networking - Anyone whose e-mail I could find; including Lloyd.Blankfein@GS.com ; [email protected] ; [email protected] ; [email protected]

What are AP classes?

College: LOL, never went to college

EC/Activities: Goldman TMT, since 4th grade.

Networking: LMFAO, networking. Pssh! Who networks these days?

College: Public Non target in NYC, Current Junior 3.5+ GPA, 2 decent ECs with no significant leadership, 2 BB internships, 1 F100. Have 1 BB, 1 major AM, and 1 ib interviews for next week. No network, just relied on corporation presentations at school and OCR.

Went to decent public magnet school in NY, had 94-95 avg. Got screwed by money, so went to current school. AP credits has helped me significantly in terms of allocating my time in being more well rounded in college.

hahaha y'all are fucking trolls.

pointystar, just find someone that works at Goldman, Deutsche Bank, Barclays, etc. on LinkedIn, and then to the right there should be a "viewers of this profile also viewed..." box. Click on those individuals and check out their stats. I don't think you'll get many honest responses here.

Oh and if you're a High School student, which sounds to me like you are, do NOT contact these people. PM me if you need help with anything.

Happy Creeping.

Perfect 5.0 GPA at MIT. Double Major in electrical engineering and chemical engineering. Founder and President of ChemE club, EE club, Investment Banking Club, and Hedge Fund Club. Interned full-academic year for all 4 years at the Boston office of McKinsey Consulting. Then did summer internships at JP Morgan, Morgan Stanley and Goldman Sachs.

Some names I cold-emailed sucessfully:

lloyd.blankfein @ GS . com james.dimon @ JPM . com mitt.romney @ Bain Capital . com gary.cohn @ GS . com james . gorman @ Morgan Stanley . com

"Look, you're my best friend, so don't take this the wrong way. In twenty years, if you're still livin' here, comin' over to my house to watch the Patriots games, still workin' construction, I'll fuckin' kill you. That's not a threat, that's a fact.
