What Level of PE Recruitment Input is Necessary for an Incoming Analyst?
I am fortunate enough to be moving into a full-time analyst position with a BB in NYC this coming summer. I, like most other incoming analysts, have been reached out to by recruiters to hop on a call and "ask any questions I may have". Now, I honestly don't have any questions, but my FOMO is telling me that I should take the call.
For older guys looking back: what level of involvement would you say is smart? Getting on Zoom calls with recruiters? Going to PE firm events on campus? Ignoring it altogether?
