What Was Working With Mark Moran Like? (CVP/LAZ)

Curious to know if anyone at Lazard or Centerview (or even CS) has any good stories on what it was like working with Mark Moran? Was he a top bucket associate? What was it like working underneath him as an analyst? Is he talked about often given his recent rise as a finance social media personality? What was the reaction like around the firm when he left to go participate in FBoy island on HBO?

A2 at CVP right now. Rumor has it from a pretty legitimate source that he had an affair with a (married) VP at the time. DM me for more info.

Since Mark is probably gonna read this thread, please shout me out in your next podcast. Sincerely, prospect at non-profit.

An3 at centerview here. He was a pretty chill guy but one month prior to him knowing he’d be leaving for F-Boy Island he literally did not do any work as an associate while still being staffed on deals, leaving most of the work to be done by the already overworked analysts. That whole ordeal really left a bad taste behind for a lot of my coworkers, especially those staffed on deals with him.

homeboy had zero game 💀 which is deathly apparent after watching 5 minutes of him chatting up CJ on Fboy island. He seems chill though so it cancels out his lack of game 😎

Recent rise as a finance Social media personality? Dude has 19k followers, I just checked. Less followers than a mediocre looking girl who posts her ass in a thong

He is really good friends with my wife (VP at CVP). She seemed very happy when she used to come home from work back when mark was still there.
