What would you do?

Just finished the Fall Semester with 3 A's and 2 B+'s

My school allows me to replace any grade with a P. I will still get the credits but it won't effect my GPA

If I Pass the 2 B+'s my GPA will be a 3.88

If I don't pass the 2 B+'s my GPA will be a 3.81

Would you pass the two B+'s? Will it have a negative effect on my in the future if I choose one option over the other? Do Full Time employers even look at your Transcript?

I passed 2 classes this past Spring Semester as well

Thank you for your input!!

Semi-Target school

Definitely trying to get the highest GPA possible because I know my school isn't a target which makes me lean more towards Passing my 2 B+'s?

Any insight on what you'd do and if employers even look at Transcripts?

Pass them. Your GPA is great as is, but no reason to lower it if you can maintain the 3.88. Employers don't look at transcript except to confirm your degree/GPA are accurate

If you want to do MBA they might notice. 2 Ps is no big deal, but I wouldn't pass/fail if you did this with more than 1 class in the spring. Doing it on a limited basis during covid is common/acceptable.

I did pass 2 classes this past Spring?

In this case, would you recommend passing two more classes?

I’m on the side of passing them because I’m assuming a future employer won’t be closely examining my transcript like you said

Not sure which MBA programs youre referring to but at least HBS/GSB/W have stated that students who p/f all or some of their classes will not be disadvantaged. Maybe some other M7s care, or maybe youre just talking out of your ass

A real estate related class and an Accounting class But, the reason I’d put a P would be because I’d assume no one would take a close look at my Transcript. Do you think a significant amount of employers will look at it closely?
