where to fine data for ongoing and finished/failed M&A's
I want to find a large data set of bunch of M&A activities. If I can find ones that haven't closed, that'd be nice too. Where can I find them?

Doubt you will have a ton of luck finding a free service but banks use CapitalIQ, Factset, Mergermarket, etc.
You're not going to find "ongoing" deals unless they were announced/leaked - the M&A process up to that announcement is generally highly confidential
Thanks. I don't have a lot of budget, so what sources can I get the most bang for my bucks?
I've also been wondering whether there is a centralized database that keeps record of announced/leaked deals.
