Which Canadian/US bank offers the best pathway for analysts to one day become VP or MDs? (Not exit op to pe, corp dev, etc.)

Might be a shocker here, but a lot of Associates go to Middle Market Firms to continue their path onto VP/MD's for a better WLB compared to goldman or PJT or etc that will absolutely destroy you.
You need to strategize what bank in the Middle Market still works on interesting deals and good dealflow but doesn't kill you. This is very group dependent so find a good culture and you'll be happy!
Most of the rankings on the site are accurate on how to leave the industry for buyside, but less deals = more time to have kids and shit
