Which Offer: Strategy Consulting vs RX EB

Looking for perspectives on entry level job choice I have to make. I currently hold an offer for a good Rx Strategy consulting firm, base ~100k + Bonus. I'm waiting on results from final round with an amazing EB Rx team. What are pros and cons to look for. What salary should I look for from Rx EB. What long term career differences

Edit: got the EB offer will be taking

little confused by what you mean
rx strategy consulting? are you doing strategy consulting at a firm known for rx or are you doing rx

is this for 2026 ft? shouldnt the firm have posted the salary ?

seems like rx ib is an easy choice for you if you're interested in finance and likely interested in rx if both roles involve that. is this analyst 1? i cant think of any eb rx group that doesnt post salaries

Honestly sounds like a no brainer, I'd go EB RX IB, unless it's at a T1 RX consulting firm, and there's a high chance you can jump to the RX consulting side / group. If so, honestly it comes down to what you want to be doing, if you're looking for exits both will open great doors. Also, depends on if you want to be doing restructuring in the first place...it's an industry that not everyone will love. As far as work goes, the consultants and RX bankers have a lot of overlap, but the bankers are more on the structuring a transaction side and the consultants are more on creating value and actually running the firm and exiting it from BK.

With that being said, among my RX consulting counterparts, I could probably count on one hand the number that've jumped from a different group within the firm (strategy etc), to the restructuring arm, so keep that in mind.

In short, the only way I see this being a situation where it comes down to what you want to be doing and neither side offering any meaningful upside is if this is a T1 RX consulting vs T1 RX IB situation. As is, with your strategy offer, I'd take the IB offer over it.
