Why are UBS exits still decent?

I always see hate towards banks like UBS and DB on this forum but why do they still have decent UMM exits. Even better than firms like WF which have been getting a good amount of praise recently? Do HHs still prefer banks like UBS over RBC/WF which have had good momentum recently?

Which UMM exits are u referring to lmao I haven’t seen many from either firm

seen ubs analysts at Veritas, Platinum, GA plus some some others aswell. Many are 1/2nd year associates too. Im not comparing them to like GS or anything but the way Ive seen ppl talk about ubs here is that there are virtually no exits if you go to ubs so im trying to get more light on that.

That could be true, i’ve noticed alot of good analysts decide to lateral from WF

I am at UBS with an exit to a 10bn+ fund. Disagree with the opinions on this post, and think a lot of it is cope by people who couldn't get better PE offers. UBS gets you UMM/MF interviews and it's ultimately up to you to convert those interviews into offers. Given when on-cycle is, you can prepare well enough to get a good offer from UBS.

Almost all exits in my group were subpar/not impressive; people just wanted out. 1-2 landed UMM PE, but vast majority were shitty IR/corp dev/LMM PE/startups type gigs.
