Why Does the UK Sponsor Visas for IB? Make Britain Great Again.

Honestly. Why are foreigners being given interviews at IB shops over those born in this country? There's absolutely no need - the UK has a colossal depth of talent.

Who are all these heavily-accented Italians, Canadians, French and arrogant Germans taking jobs away from hardworking UK passport holders/citizens? Sick and tired of seeing these Bocconi or HEC grads - go recruit in the dumps that are Rome or Milan if you're so good!

Ultimately, the UK has all the leverage on this continent. Yet immigrants take it for granted.

Face it, nobody wants to work anywhere, but in London, within Europe.

1) The only English-speaking country in Europe, 2) the most prestigious city in Europe, and 3) the only city that can actually hold a candle to NY, Dubai, Singapore, Tokyo. The rest of Europe is a MUSEUM.

The US is cracking down on immigration. Good. Now, the UK should also follow suit.

Britain First. Make the United Kingdom Great Again. Close the borders. Now.

Can’t tell if this is satire or not, will bite anyway…

Banks only care about generating revenue - first via getting mandates and then obviously actually performing on those.

In that sense who do you think a MD wants cranking at 3am on a EUR15bn Sell-side with a super demanding sponsor ?

1/ A 23-24 year old French/Italian/German Mfin student with 12-16 months of direct relevant xp under his belt hungry to escape the low wages/employment prospects of Continental Europe ?

2/ Your average 19 year old Oxbridge / SEO London / Rare recruitment student who doesn’t even understand the job ?
