1000th posting on this topic

I know that this topic has been posted many times, but I still have questions about my situation. I am currently hoping to get into IB but am worried about my GPA. I have a 3.3 (rounded down) GPA but am in a student-managed investment fund (one of the largest in the U.S.), leadership role in a club, and business frat. My school has a good number of alumni on wall street but is not considered a target school. The business school is top 50 in the nation, but I am still worried about my GPA. Any thoughts would help!!! Thanks!!!

What are you hoping to expect as a response? Confirmation bias? What are you even asking? You know the reality of your situation of having a low GPA at a non-target (re: “Top 50 B-School” lol). 1000s of non targets are a part of their “prestigious” investment club that have perfect GPAs. This doesn’t make you stand out. Does this mean you have no chance? No. Instead of writing bullshit like this on WSO for the sole reason of coping, put a solid 40hrs/week to GRINDING the fuck out of technicals. No bullshit. Just hard work. Then, start networking. The process is all laid out there, but it says a lot that you would post something like this instead of taking action. Reevaluate and take action instead of moping.
