1st round interview - Feedback follow up Immediately?
I did a first round interview OCR today and the interviewers said they'll let me know in a couple of weeks if I make it to the final round of interviews.
I asked for feedback immediately after the interview but didn't get much detail.. should I followup email/thank them and ask for interview feedback:
- Immediately tonight
- In a couple of days
- When they contact me in the future

a couple of weeks .... WOW. why is the lag time between r1 and r2 so long..
I think they said a "couple" of weeks to set expectations.. but I think I'll hear back within 1.5 - 2 weeks max
Just follow up and thank them. You already asked for feedback. They probably don't have time to critique/remember you.

It your interviewers were alums, I would go ahead and ask for feedback; since they rooted for you in the first round, they will definitely be behind you for the next rounds.
You're walking a fine line there. You can try it, but it can backfire.
The Superday is usually much different than a first round round anyway.
Expect much more technical questions.
