No Idea what to do with the rest of my life

Currently a Case Team Lead/EM at an MBB firm. My academic background is an AB in Economics from Harvard, an MSc in Economics for Development from Oxford (Oriel College), and an MPhil in Public Policy from Cambridge (St John's College).

I'm nearly 28 and ready to leave consulting. I had originally intended to work in government (ideally for the U.S. Treasury as a development economist), but developments over the past few years have made me increasingly disillusioned with such a path.

Given my background, what would you consider the best next move? A few of my friends and coworkers have recommended joining a unicorn startup or the strategy arm of a F500 but I am unsure of how to effectively make this transition. Any advice?

You're a Harvard man, an Oxford man, and a Cambridge man; you also have 4 years of MBB experience. The world is your oyster mate.
