21 Yr Old... MTL to TO to NYC

Hi, I am graduating university by 23-24 and will work FT in PE or IB when I graduate. I would like your advice on my plan and the best way to achieve the end goal mentioned below.

My plan: Work FT in TO after graduation for 2-4 years then move to NYC. My dream is to be at a top PE firm in NYC and then create my own PE fund when im older. My question for you is... how do I work on (1) receiving a FT offer in IB or PE in TO within the next 2-3 years (2) move to NYC at a PE fund from either IB or PE depending on what I land in (1)
