I had a phone interview at a Renewable Energy company for a financial analyst job that is responsible for primarily creating and updating project pro forma spreadsheets, evaluating restructuring and buyout opportunities. The director I interviewed with said that HR would be in contact with me and that they would have me in for a second interview and an excel test.
I have 2 questions: 1) Should I still follow up with HR and/or the director who emailed me even though the director said they'd have me in for a 2nd interview? 2) What would this excel test entail? He said something along the lines of pro-formas, but that's it. Is there any examples anyone can point me to?
