ABCD Trader Opportunities
Hello,
I have been working as a trader on a futures & options desk for an ABCD for about a year now. I moved into this role after working as an engineer for the same company, so my background is not necessarily finance. I've been told I'm doing well, but lately, I've started to wonder what I would do if I were to get laid off or fired. Many other trading roles within ABCD are physical/cash trading which I do not want to do. In addition, I only have a year of experience, so moving to a hedge fund or something similar seems like a pipe dream.
What opportunities might be out there for someone in my position on the off-chance I find myself unemployed?
