Advice: Getting back into investment banking from REPE

Hey all - looking for some advice. Graduated from a target (HPY) in 2022 and started working for a BB in their M&A group. Unfortunately had some family issues and some other personal things that I was going through which definitely affected my job performance and I resigned in 2023. Since then, had to take an extended period of time off but have now been working in real-estate private equity for a year. I am not sure it's the right field for me long-term, as I don't really enjoy the asset level underwriting or analysis - I found traditional company valuation, finance and investing to be much more interesting. Thinking about eventually getting back to IB or PE - I just turned 25 but wondering how should I approach this? Too late to start as an analyst again?
