advice needed for sophomore going through it

I haven’t even started my technicals for sa 2026(I’m maybe like 1/5 of the way through) and I am so stressed about learning everything in time. I hate myself so much for starting this process late (partially my fault, mostly out of my control). I would love some advice, I feel like my head is going to explode. Worried especially about getting a hirevue with a technical I don’t know.

if the recruiting process is giving you this much of a headache, then the job may not be for you. its not the end of the world.

there's a lot of other really cool, high paying, mentally stimulating positions out in the world of finance. don't feel like you need to do IB because everyone else around you is.

I don’t care about working hard or working a lot, I’m just so worried about being behind. I regularly pull all nighters and I don’t care too much about that. I feel like for every piece of helpful information I get, my friends with family in the industry have 10x more. I hate not knowing, which yes is something i need help with. This whole process just feels like me being in the dark until it’s too late.
