Advice on Headhunters

Hello,

I've recently begun receiving calls / outreach from headhunters for PE roles.  I've heard from coworkers not to engage with them until you're ready, as even initial calls with them are treated as interviewers.

Looking for what kind of preparation should be done beforehand / general advice on engagement
