Advice on jobs search (country, company)

Hi guys, I am completely lost in my job search, can you please help me out!!

I am an international student at a non-target US business school, doing my MS in finance. I graduate in December  2020 and have 3 years to work in the US. I did my bachelor's in economics at a target school in my home country in Eastern Europe (I am not a EU citizen) and interned in Big 3 management consulting, a top investment bank in my country, and in a big 4 valuations.  I realize that in order to break into IB, I need internships, but most banks don't have off-cycle programs in the US as they do in Europe. To this point I applied to many positions both in the US and in Europe, but while in US I am rejected on screening, in Europe many BBs move me forward in the application process.  I am completely unsure whether this will lead to something serious but I just wanted to ask you guys what you would do in my shoes:  is it better to focus on the US, and if it is, where should I apply? ( full-time positions are extremely competitive and I am ineligible for summer analyst programs )
