Am I gonna regret rejecting GS?
Rejected an associate offer from GS to go to a buy side firm. Is this a mistake? I have been putting more thoughts into it lately and it seems like a blunder. Having GS early in your career seems like something you will carry for the rest of your vareer. Plus I was going to be put in a team with lots of exceptional people I can learn from (spoke to most of them and a friend of mine working there confirmed).
I always wanted to work at a buy side and taking GS seems like prolonging the path to go there since I can move directly. Not sure, probably just overthinking it.
Depends what the buyside role is. I rejected GS ER for a buyside role. I would probably do it again
