Am I screwed?

I am a sophomore at a target with a rlly good resume.

I unfortunately, only began networking and learning about it in December, and haven’t made any meaningful networking connections.

  1. Can I continue cold emailing for the rest of the week or is it too close to Christmas?

  2. What is the networking timeline? I know I’m late, but can I still essentially start networking and start building effective relationships from scratch in January and February despite SA 2026 IB internships opening very early in January? Am I too late for networking and am thus screwed?

  3. How important is networking? As said, I go to a target and have a rlly good resume so is that enough to land me several 1st round BB and EB interviews?

Thanks so much for the reply. So can I still be cold emailing and starting to build relationships in January and February? Is it even useful or, in light of what you said, is a good school enough? Thanks
