Analyst, Valuation & Business Modelling at Big 4 CA firm

I have an internship at a big 4 CA firm this summer with the intent of gaining work experience in the M&A transaction advisory field to gain relevant work experience for IB. Recently, i came across an employee on linkedin that was a "Valuation & Business Modelling Analyst." the job description was as follows:

"...provide valuation services for a variety of purposes, including acquisitions, divestitures, reorganizations, litigation supports, purchase price allocations, intangible-asset valuation and financial reporting."

First of all, do any of you have insight into this position, and, is it more relatable work experience for IB vs M&A transaction advisory.

Thanks everyone!!

Are you a sophomore?

The difference between successful people and others is largely a habit - a controlled habit of doing every task better, faster and more efficiently.
