GS likes to put people in competition....because competition brings out motivation for better work. You must be comfortable with this. Some people get butt-hurt about the prospect about constantly having to compete...to prove their worth...some people take the competition too far...others thrive under the situation. Be the one who thrives. Enjoy the competition, but also educate others in the process in a way where you are not talking down to them...but making them your team members where you not only teach, but cheer-lead their successes. This is how people are nominated for promotion and eventually, partner.

This is more for experienced people...but as a younger person, these are still good things to be aware of. Be teachable. Have a positive quest to be better. Expect to compete, for everything. Also expect to be judged by those you are in competition with. Sometimes, they are the ones who are asked if you should be promoted or fired. Be the person where in competition, you not only win, but the loser says "wow, you are awesome".

just google it...you're welcome

If you could specify the division it would help a lot. Also, just in general really understand what they do and their corporate structure. As you probably know the environment is very competitive with a steep learning curve so be able to express how you can be successful in this type of setting. (PS just try to relax and be human don’t let the name go to your head)

Good luck!!

"If you always put limits on everything you do, physical or anything else, it will spread into your work and into your life. There are no limits. There are only plateaus, and you must not stay there, you must go beyond them." - Bruce Lee
