Asking to take FT offer a year early

What’s the precedent for graduating at the end of a junior year and then (assuming I get the return offer) asking to start as soon as the summer ends. FYI: I didn’t put on my resume when applying that I was planning on graduating so early because I didn’t want to raise any red flags but would that work? I guess I could take a year off but that would be kind of boring. Might be strange though to start working with kids not in my intern class....

Regardless of any personal advice though I’m curious if this is even possible from an HR standpoint. Thx!

Should have specified this is for summer 2021 if that changes your opinion

Yes, definitely makes a difference for my opinion. Things will likely look very different by then, no way to predict. You can ask HR now but my guess will be they have no idea what the outlook will be by then so may ask you to sit tight for awhile while they wait for some more clarity on the immediate future.

Completely regardless of corona is this something you know of anyone doing in the industry? Curious if it would be seamless or bizarre. I have no idea how tight you get with your analyst class and if I’d be on the outside of the group I would be joining full time having never worked with them

This happened with a guy in my intern class and he seemed to be fine. I'm not sure how frequently it happens but you definitely wouldn't be the first one asking for something like this.
