Bad GPA at a Target School, Where Can I Apply?
I am at a low-tier target (Michican, UVA, UCLA) but have a 3.15 GPA. Many bulge-bracket firms dismiss candidates below 3.5. Where can I apply?
I mean you can apply anywhere but you should really focus on networking. I had a GPA only a little higher than yours at a non-target and was able to network my way into interviews. That should be your play now. GPA will only play a major role when you actually apply as a method of screening candidates, so if you find a back way in through an employee, you may have a better chance at getting around that hurdle.
