Bankruptcy Internship

Hi everyone, I am a non-US freshman and this summer I could work for a bankruptcy trustee.

It is not completely finance related, but I'll have the opportunity to work (likely unpaid though) and analyse distressed companies, insolvency cases, NPLs and bankruptcy filings. And in this situation I don't think I will be able to find something better.

How would this be seen by a recruiter? Would it look good if I manage to word it better to make it sound more like distressed investing / restructuring and less court filings?

I would gladly welcome your opinion and advice
