BB not paying for Intern Flights
Incoming SA at BB. Based on the discussion in our group chat, interns have to pay for their own flights/transportation to New York. This doesn’t really affect me as I live nearby anyways (although I planned on comping my Uber), but is this standard?
Was always under the impression companies covered relocation to the job, especially for internships.

It is definitely standard if your internship will be in NYC this summer. aka if you’re interning in SF over the summer and training week is in NYC then that would be covered usually.
most banks pay relocation bonus of $2k for the summer but idk for sure if JPM does
It might just be standard at a place like JPM. EBs cover flights to NY
I can confirm that last summer all travel expenses were paid for
