BBIB ER vs Small PE
Hiya fellas
I have been working at a small corporate advisory shop and have the option to move into either a BB's Equities Research team (think GS, MS, JPM) or a small PE shop (FUM US$1bn). This is non-US. Comp would be higher with the PE firm and my approach is more similar to the PE firm.
Just interested in hearing how somebody who's been in such a circumstance would evaluate the decision; i.e., what factors are critical to consider?
