Best Approach

Hi all- I am a fresh graduate looking for advice for getting to my desired career path. I am very interested in working at a GE/VC shop focusing on software, artificial intelligence, and sports technology. I would love to one day start my own business and believe working on an investment team would be an ideal path for my career development.

I know the common path is to start in Investment Banking. I have set myself up for that path having 4 prior IB internships. Unfortunately having severe difficulty gaining FT traction (despite sending out thousands of emails), which can be attributed to the current macroeconomic climate. I have began looking for any IB/VC/PE/Corp Dev internships for this summer, in hopes to buy myself time to find a gig.

I was wondering if anyone had any suggestions or advice for the career path I envision. I am doing everything I can on the networking front and building my resume to make myself an enticing candidate. I completely understand its a challenging job market, but would love to hear anything I could do to make myself stand out or find a role that puts myself on the right path.
