Best D1 sport for recruiting IB

I’m just wondering which sport is really helpful in recruiting. Maybe most interviewers play it or follow it. I’m thinking of running and basketball but curious to hear other people's opinions.

Who do you think can recruit better: someone from Harvard or d1 athlete from Michigan/uva/duke? Assuming the same GPA, experience, and extracurr

Those schools aren't really close at all. UVA Michigan Duke with large gaps between each.

I’m guessing you are saying duke is better than Michigan and that is better than uva (hard to tell from what you wrote there), although I would say uva is a better placing school than Michigan.

Regardless, I would argue there isn’t a big difference between these schools (traditionally duke had better reputation, although not across entire street).

edit: see you changed up the “>” to ““, that makes more sense (duke being better than the other two). Still think uva and Michigan are pretty close (with Duke a bit better reputation).
