Best sustainable and long term career path in finance

Hi everyone,

I’m a freshman at an Ivy League school and I’m exploring potential career paths, particularly in finance. I don’t think I’d enjoy a career in IB/PE/HF due to the high stress and long hours, but I’m very interested in economics and the stock market.

I’d like to work less than 60 hours a week (ideally closer to 40) so I have time to pursue my interests outside of work. I’m targeting a mid career salary of 200k. Does anyone have any suggestions?

Thanks!

I haven't been in it, but Corp Dev seems pretty cool and sustainable.
