BigLaw
Hey Guys,
I've been fairly set on a career in finance, based on everything I've read I'd like to go into some sort of trading or alternative Asset Management. However, I have also been really pulled towards corporate law. Do you guys think it's a bad idea to get a JD/MBA so as to keep corporate law on the back burner as a potential backup? I doubt I'd be able to get into HYS, however T5-T14 is certainly doable, and I wouldn't go if I didn't get into one of those. Again, I do want to go into finance, but corporate law just does have some strange pull because it is urban, has high earning potential, and because I don't think I would hate the job.
Regards!
There's a good discussion on JD/MBAs here you should look at https://www.wallstreetoasis.com/forums/jdmbasworth-it-or-waste-of-time
