BlackRock Client Businesses 1st round. Help!!

Has anyone ever interviewed for BlackRock Client Businesses? I have one coming up and would appreciate if someone can let me know what to expect. I can't imagine it being technicals-heavy but I could be wrong. What should I prepare for?

Relationship Management. I believe the group you eventually join -- Retail, Institutional Client Business, Defined Contribution Group, or iShares -- will be determined after the interview. I'm an economics major so I'm more concerned about what the technicals will be like since I've never taken any finance courses. But behavioral tips will definitely be appreciated as well!! For what it's worth, here is the job description..

Client Businesses Overview Within the Client Businesses, we pride ourselves on creating, communicating, and delivering investment solutions for clients worldwide. The Client Businesses serve both institutional and retail clients, including corporate, public, union and industry pension plans; insurance companies; third-party mutual funds; endowments; foundations; charities; corporations; official institutions; banks; and individuals worldwide. This opportunity to join as an Intern within the Client Businesses provides broad exposure to Asset Management, the market, and a wide variety of financial products.

Opportunities exist across our various Client Businesses: Retail, Institutional, Defined Contribution, and iShares.

Retail – The Retail team is responsible for distribution, marketing and product management for BlackRock’s U.S.-registered products, including alternative investments, open-end funds, closed-end funds, ETF’s and managed accounts. BlackRock’s Retail business manages over $700 Billion of assets on behalf of US retail investors across a diversified suite of investment strategies and vehicles.

Institutional – The Institutional Client Business (ICB) is responsible for developing and maintaining relationships with sophisticated institutional investors, including pension funds, foundations, endowments, official institutions, insurance companies, high net worth individuals, and family offices.

Defined Contribution – BlackRock's U.S. Defined Contribution Group (USDC) is currently one of BlackRock's most dynamic businesses and has been named by senior management as one of the main engines for future revenue growth. Focusing on improving retirement outcomes this group is responsible for both institutional and retail client bases and provides the industry’s leading target date fund LifePath.

iShares – The iShares brand was launched in 2000 and has since become the leading global ETF provider with over $770 Billion in assets under management globally and just under 40% global ETF market share as of June 2013. iShares runs over 600 ETFs globally, holding securities in various asset classes ranging from US domestic equity to fixed income, to emerging and frontier markets.

Relationship Management Locations – New York, NY As part of a Relationship Management team you will work amongst various sales professionals, associates, and analysts and also interface with product strategists, portfolio managers, and researchers across multiple offices. You will support the efforts of Relationship Managers through driving new business relationships and providing superior client service to existing clients.

As an intern on one of these teams, your responsibilities may vary by team but could include: Liaise with Investments and other departments within BlackRock to respond to client’s needs/inquiries Learn BlackRock’s proprietary systems in order to prepare portfolio reviews, market updates, and research reports Contribute to new business pitches, requests for proposals (RFPs), and client presentations Work with teams internally across the Firm Gain broad exposure to asset management, the market, and a wide variety of financial products. Maintain data sources, including client activity, client contact information and product guides

I've also applied for this internship. Seems like I've got dinged :/ How long did it take until they changed your review stauts?
