Breaking in with a science background

Hello WSO!

I am hoping I can get some advice from you all. I am in my senior year at a very well recognized school in Canada. I completed a science degree with a minor in commerce. I decided this past summer that finance would be the best option for me, and I am planning on taking my CFA L1 in June. Since deciding to pursue finance, I have been trying to self-study and keep up with the markets. In addition, I joined the finance club, took a financial modeling course, and I have been reading Investment Baking by Rosenbaum.

I am really aiming to get my foot in the door, but I don't feel like I have the experience to even get an interview as I do not have a finance degree, or any experience working at a bank. My question is: how can I position myself so that banks consider me for an interview (considering my background)?
