Bulge Bracket Clearing Positions

I was wondering what clearing positions in bulge brackets were like in terms of pay, if its considered back office, exit opps, etc. I'm currently working in credit risk at a clearing house (previously worked with otc swaps in the clearing house) and was curious as to what full time opportunities I should be pursuing in light of my internship experience. Any other input on possible career paths would be greatly appreciated as well!
